Alice Springs
Masters Games
The Alice Springs Masters Games is a biannual
event held in October over an 8 Day period.
Moving Pictures directors April Goodman
and Matthew Pyle and a flexible team of
10 Professional Photographers will photograph
5000 enthusiastic, mature aged sportsmen
and women who participate in competing in
31 Sporting Events. During this Event, Moving
Pictures process over 18000 5x7 and 6x8
color images which are then laminated for
displays and retail for the competitors
to purchase.
Finke Desert
Race
The Finke Desert Race is an annual event
which is held in the outback of Alice Springs
over the Queen's birthday weekend. Dirt
bikes and Off Road Racers travel at extreme
speeds against the clock and each other
to complete the 480km return trip. The photography
involves capturing off-road racing at its
best, with both local, Interstate and International
Competitors.
